What Can I Expect? |
| |
| What kind of church are you? |
| We are a rural, contemporary
Southern Missionary Baptist church.
Antioch is Bible-based; Jesus and the
salvation He gives is the central focus
of our teaching. |
| |
| Where are you located? |
| Antioch Baptist Church is located in
the Knob Lick community of Metcalfe
County. Click here for
directions |
| |
| What type of music do you sing? |
| Our music ministry is built on a
foundation of hymns and southern gospel
favorites, with a light blend of
contemporary praise and worship music.
With an upbeat choir and participation
from the congregation, the music
ministry sets the tone for worship and
message during services at Antioch
Baptist Church. |
| |
| What should I wear? |
| Come as you are! We are not
hung up on suits, ties, and fancy
dresses, so feel free to wear something
comfortable! |
| |
| Do you have small group studies? |
| Antioch Baptist Church offers
educational opportunities in small-group
settings every Sunday morning and every
Wednesday evening. |
| |
| How do I become a member? |
| If God wants you at Antioch, so do
we! If you have accepted Christ as
your personal Savior, and would like to
make Antioch Baptist Church your church
family, you may do so by one of three
ways: |
|
1. |
If you have never followed
Christ in believer's
baptism, this will be your
method of being added to the
membership of Antioch
Baptist Church. Once a
baptism candidate has
received baptism, the
candidate is then adopted
into the Antioch family! |
|
2. |
If you have been baptized,
and currently are a member
at another church, you may
request the church to send a
letter to that church for
membership transfer. |
|
3. |
You may join by testimony.
If you have been baptized,
you may give your personal
testimony of salvation to
the church family, and the
church will then elect you
into our family. |
